Haha.. Yes, that's what we were all supposed to think reading the headline! It's called "click bait".22-09-2021 11:08

Gasly needs to listen a bit more and take a few minutes out to think about it. Way back, Marko said that AT was going to be a more autonomous team rather than just the Red Bull B team, he has now said that he needs that team to be fighting for the position in the constructors championship not just collecting data or being a test bed for upgrades. Therefore quite rightly, he needs a good driver to be No.1 and get good points for that team, especially given the poor performance of Tsunoda the Honda man. He needs to step back, look at the big picture and shut up. Hulk & Kvyatt would happily take his seat without hesitation.13-09-2021 17:19

Maybe he is missing his best mate Carlos? Not 'clicked' with Danny Ric in the same way. Perhaps he just feels more mature and professional now after the 'fun' years? I get where he is coming from, he's doing really well himself and Danny is hardly a rookie who needs his hand held!14-05-2021 14:56

No, no Vettel was recruited on his status of being a champion, pure and simple. LS (and his board) chose to ignore Vettels dropping off of form and frequent mishaps snd issues. Probably believing their own hype and theories that he just needs a fresh start. Nothing to do with young Lance who has shown he can cut it in the top 10 set. No, Seb hasn't miraculously recovered any mojo or impetus at all.... he's washed up.02-04-2021 13:12

Got to feel for him. He rarely makes a bad mistake and poor pit stops, bad calls on tyres etc always seem to go against him which must affect his mind set, thereby causing frustration and irritation. Maybe he should throw his gloves down on the floor or chuck his helmet against the wall now and then ? Looks like he's getting fed up with being Mr Nice guy #2 driver!31-03-2021 14:03

Well, he's right. Internal combustion engines could have been superceded many decades ago but the oil producers (and associated industries) conspired to keep alternative fuels technology out of the equasion. Ultimately, it's all about the racing and spectacle. Roman chariots or hydrogen-electric hybrid "batmobiles" all the same really!07-02-2021 13:48

To be fair, Mech. Aston are obviously looking for results straight away, and good feedback will be vital. They chose Perez over him, true, but it doesnt mean he's useless. Alfa sing the praises of Kubica as a T & R man, so I think Hulk would be way better than some 20yr old "trainee"!05-02-2021 12:57

Austin Martin? Ah...yes, I get it now.. old British Racing Green colour, they're going for nostalgia obviously, so we will see a 948cc cast iron icu with Champion spark plugs, and some fake wood on the dashboard?28-01-2021 13:58

What is the obsession with black? Most teamshave it in varying degrees, mostly on the chassis/floor but why?? Is there some FIA rule that says x% must be black? McClaren at least have a good splash of their classic orange featured, so hope we can see a bright fresh mainly blue livery in due course.14-01-2021 16:11
